1 .Overreaction to Minor Mistakes

Example: When a child spills juice on the floor, the parent explodes in anger, yelling, “Why are you so careless? You always ruin everything!” This extreme reaction causes the child to feel intense fear and guilt over minor accidents, leading to anxiety and a fear of making mistakes in the future.

2. Dismissal of Emotions:

Example: When the child comes home upset after being teased at school, the parent responds with “Stop be sensitive. Toughen up!” This dismissal invalidates the child’s feelings, teaching them that their emotions are not important or worth expressing !! As a result, the child may grow up struggling to express their emotions and feeling create trauma in child unsupported.

3. Inconsistent Parenting:

Example: One day, the parent is affectionate and engaging, and the next day, they are distant and unresponsive without any clear reason. This unpredictability leaves the child feeling confused and insecure, never knowing what to expect. This inconsistency can lead to attachment issues, making it difficult for the child to trust others and form stable relationships later in life.
